I was not even looking for another bike. The Jerónimo Rasputin found me. At least that is the story I am telling. I was just browsing Pink Bike ‘for a friend’ when Rasputin growled at me. I was powerless. Just take my money! Shiny-thing-make-better-feeling!

I am originally from Bellingham, USA, and since moving to England, in 2002, I have gone through stages of ‘not riding bikes at all’ *gasp* to riding everyday. Around 2008, the bike bug took a strong hold of me, and I have been fairly obsessed ever since.

I rode my Jerónimo Rasputin 29+ on the Highland Trail 550, in 2016, and finished in 10th place overall in under 5 days. It performed like a champ! We have been through many adventures together over the years, from bikepacking to XC racing to filthy winter mud fests across England, Wales, Scotland, and USA. I have covered more than 15000 km on this bike so far. Love it.
